A news story has emerged from Garhwa district of Jharkhand that will shake every man living an honest life in the name of marriage. Deepak Kujur, a government teacher from Simdega, was brutally murdered. And the truth that is now coming to light is no less than a Bollywood thriller — deception, an illicit relationship, questions over paternity, and a carefully planned conspiracy.
But treating this case merely as a crime story and moving on would be a second injustice to Deepak Kujur. This is not just the story of a murder — it is the story of a society where an innocent husband was treated as a “thorn in the path” and removed.

The entire case — at a glance
– 27 December 2025 – Deepak Kujur married Mukti Kerketta.
– 1 July 2026 – Just 6 months after the wedding, Mukti gave birth to a daughter.
– 18-19 July 2026 – Deepak went to Ramkanda to drop his mother-in-law. On the way back, near Lalmatia in Salo jungle, ambushed criminals shot and killed him.
– 30 July 2026 – Elder brother Basant Kujur filed a written complaint at Badgad police station, accusing wife Mukti and Matin Akhtar alias Munna Khan, a spectacle shop owner from Daltonganj, of conspiring in the murder.
– 6 months – Time from marriage to the birth of the child
– 3 arrested – Matin Akhtar, Mafuj Ansari, Parvez Alam
Layers of the conspiracy — Who was the real mastermind?
According to Basant Kujur’s application, before marriage Mukti Kerketta used to work at Matin Akhtar’s ‘Nayan Sukh Spectacle Shop’ in Daltonganj. There was a love affair between them. Even after the marriage they remained in contact. The allegation is that Matin himself planned this entire conspiracy.
🔍 The big question: How did the criminals get precise, minute-by-minute information about Deepak leaving home, going to his in-laws’ place, and returning? The brother’s direct question is — Did wife Mukti herself give this information to her lover Matin?
This was not a crime committed in a fit of rage. It was a calculated, cold-blooded conspiracy. A man who was trying to build a life with his wife was eliminated simply because he stood in the way of an illicit relationship.
Role of the parents — A conspiracy to save face
The darkest and most unspoken chapter of this entire episode is the role of Mukti’s parents. This is no longer just a story of a love affair and murder — it has become the story of a family that risked the life of an innocent man to hide their daughter’s wrongdoing.
💥 Sensational revelation: Mukti Kerketta’s parents were fully aware that their daughter had been in a long-standing love affair with a Muslim boy, Matin Akhtar. When Mukti became pregnant, to avoid social disgrace the parents hastily married her off to an unknown, simple Hindu family — to Deepak Kujur.
This was no ordinary arranged marriage. It was a carefully planned deception. The parents deliberately hid from Deepak Kujur and his family the truth that their daughter was already pregnant — and with the child of a Muslim man. To save their own “honour,” they destroyed the life of another family.
“Think about it — parents who see their daughter pregnant do not go to a hospital or the police. They go to trap a Hindu boy. Because the fear of ‘what will people say’ is greater than a human life. And when that boy came in the way, he was eliminated.”
Even when Mukti gave birth to a daughter just six months after the wedding, did the parents tell Deepak the truth? No. Because telling the truth would mean accepting their daughter’s character, their own upbringing, and the disgrace of their family. And that admission was heavier for them than the murder of an innocent teacher.
This is the same society that calls daughters “someone else’s trust,” but when that same daughter brings a stain on the family’s honour, the entire family becomes part of the conspiracy. And the greatest irony — the victim is none other than an honest Hindu husband.
From the perspective of an Ex-Muslim
I left Islam because it considers women half witnesses, entitled to half inheritance, and the “property” of the husband — yet places no restriction on trapping a non-Muslim girl on the street and murdering her husband.
“When people like Matin Akhtar show the real face of ‘Love Jihad,’ the so-called secular media closes its eyes by calling it a ‘communal angle.’ But the question is — Was Deepak Kujur’s religion the reason for his murder? Or was he simply a man who married the wrong woman?”
And today I am asking this question — Does our society take the murder of an honest husband as seriously as any other murder? Or is it diluted by calling it a “family matter” and a “love affair”?
If the circumstances were reversed — if a Muslim teacher had been murdered and the accused were Hindu — would the reaction of the media and the so-called intellectuals have been the same? Would hashtags not have trended? Would there not have been prime-time debates?
Men can also be victims
This case is extremely important for Men’s Rights. There are three issues here that society avoids talking about:
1. Paternity Fraud
Birth of a daughter just 6 months after marriage. If the DNA test proves that Deepak was not the biological father of the child, it is a serious case of Paternity Fraud. Even today in India there is no law that protects a man from Paternity Fraud. If a woman presents another man’s child in her husband’s name, the husband has no legal remedy — on the contrary, he may even have to pay maintenance.
📊 Bitter truth: According to various international studies, approximately 2-4% of children have legal fathers who are not their biological fathers. And in most of these cases the husband never learns the truth.
2. Domestic conspiracy and male victims
Deepak Kujur’s murder was not a random crime. It was a domestic conspiracy in which the wife and her lover jointly plotted. Society needs to understand that men can also be victims of domestic violence and conspiracy. The mindset of “he’s a man, he’ll manage” has silently forced countless Deepak Kujurs to die.
3. Legal imbalance
In India the Domestic Violence Act (PWDVA 2005) protects only women. The misuse of Section 498A (dowry harassment) is a documented reality. But when a man is murdered by his wife and her lover, the law treats it only under “murder” and “criminal conspiracy” — there is no special law that protects men from domestic conspiracy and Paternity Fraud.
⚖️ Demand: The Government of India should enact a Paternity Fraud law. DNA testing should be made mandatory at the time of birth. And there is an urgent need for a Men’s Protection Act for men as well.
Religious angle — When “love” becomes “jihad”
Matin Akhtar is a Muslim. Mukti Kerketta is a tribal Hindu woman. This case is not only criminal but also part of a communal pattern. Hundreds of such cases have come to light across India where Muslim men have trapped non-Muslim women in a love net and then conspired to remove their husbands from the path.
This is a textbook case of “Love Jihad” — where first the woman was trapped economically and emotionally, and then her husband was treated as a “thorn in the path” and eliminated.
“I was born in a Muslim family. I know where the thinking comes from that labels non-Muslims as ‘kafir’ and considers their lives ‘halal.’ I have heard all this in madrasas and mosques. That is why I left Islam.”
But the most tragic part of this case is that Mukti Kerketta — herself a tribal woman — conspired against her own husband. This shows how a woman can also be made a tool of crime.
What next?
Garhwa police have arrested Matin Akhtar, Mafuj Ansari, and Parvez Alam. But Basant Kujur has alleged that wife Mukti is also a party to this conspiracy. If this is true, she too must be brought into the dock. And the biggest question — Mukti’s parents — are they also part of this conspiracy? Did they deliberately marry their pregnant daughter to Deepak?
My opinion:
– A DNA test of the child should be conducted immediately so that the truth of paternity can come out.
– Strict interrogation of wife Mukti Kerketta and her parents should be carried out.
– All the culprits should be given the strictest possible punishment.
So that this case becomes an example in the context of Paternity Fraud and Men’s Rights.
The government should also make a domestic protection law for Hindu men. Because all such cases happen only with Hindu men, as in Muslim society the reverse happens, as its Islamic teachings teach them.
Final words
Deepak Kujur was a government teacher. An honest man. A newly married husband trying to live his life. His only mistake was that he married a woman whose parents made him the scapegoat to hide their own disgrace.
This blog is not just a post. It is a voice for every Hindu man who becomes a victim of Paternity Fraud, domestic conspiracy, and legal imbalance, but society does not listen to him. It is the voice of every Ex-Muslim who has recognised the hollowness of his religion and is no longer afraid to speak the truth. And it is a slap on the face of a society where, in the name of “honour,” the lives of innocents are put at stake.
