Another Painful Story of Forced Religious Conversion: The Truth Revealed by Aamir Jaidi’s Arrest

Hello friends,

I am a person who was raised in the shadow of religion, but over time, understanding some of its truths, I stepped out of it. Today, I have not come to wage any religious war in front of you, but to talk about humanity. Because there is nothing above humanity. And in this light of humanity, I see how some people, under the guise of religion, destroy the lives of others.

Today’s story is from Kanpur, where the police chased and caught Samajwadi Party leader Aamir Zaidi. He was fleeing on a scooter, but how far could he run from the police? This incident is not just an arrest, but a glimpse of a bigger problem – the chains of forced conversion, blackmail, and sexual exploitation that are often known by the name “Love Jihad.”

The beginning of the incident: The pain of a minor girl

It dates back to 2013. In a Hindu family, the father passed away. There was mourning in the house, and a minor girl who was the most vulnerable at that time. In such moments, a person seeks support, but here people like Aamir Zaidi wait for prey. According to the victim’s complaint, Zaidi took advantage of her weakness. First, he lured her in, then raped her and made obscene videos. These videos became weapons for him – for blackmail and repeated exploitation. Imagine, for a girl who had just lost her father, how big a shock this would have been. I myself think, if something like this happened to a girl in my family, what would I do? But this is not a question; this is the reality happening with thousands of girls.

Time passed, the girl grew up. Her family fixed her marriage – on September 18, 2025. A moment of happiness, but Zaidi could not tolerate it. Along with his associates – Sunny alias Sunny Abbas, Rizvi, and Raja alias Akhtar Ansari – he started pressuring her. Convert to our religion, otherwise we will make the videos viral. And he did – sent them to relatives and the prospective in-laws. He made full efforts to stop the marriage, but thank God the in-laws were sensible. The engagement took place on October 29, 2025, and the wedding is fixed for February 14. But Zaidi did not stop. Using fake IDs, he threatened the groom and his sister, called the groom near the cremation ground to scare him. He said he would not let her marry any Hindu boy. What is this? Love? Or a well-planned conspiracy?

Police action: An incomplete victory for justice

On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, this dramatic arrest happened in the Ghatampur police station area. Inspector Dinesh Singh Bisht chased him on a scooter for 6 kilometers and caught Zaidi. On the victim’s complaint, a case was registered against Zaidi and his three associates – under sections for rape, threats, POCSO Act, IT Act, and the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021. This law was made in 2021 because such incidents were increasing. The police action is commendable, but the question is how many such stories remain hidden, and will that girl get justice because the criminal is the son of a Muslim leader?

My perspective: Criticism of religion, but from the standpoint of humanity

I am an Ex-Muslim, and I know that in religion, there are many interpretations and practices that weaken women and target non-Muslims. The concept of “Love Jihad” – where Muslim men trap non-Muslim girls and force them to convert – is nothing new. I have myself seen how some people twist certain verses of the Quran to justify it. Muslims claim that the Quran says “There is no compulsion in religion” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256). Then why this compulsion? Why blackmail? Why exploitation?

This is not just a religious issue; it is also a human one. I criticize because I have stepped out of this system myself and breathed freely. I say – every religion has scope for reform if society wants change, but maulvis and mullahs will not let it happen because their business would shut down. The Muslim community should also think why such incidents are happening in their name. And the Hindu community should think how to make their daughters stronger. Look at the victim’s courage – she complained, fought the battle. She is an example.

In the end: A ray of hope

Friends, this incident is sad, but there is hope in it. The marriage is happening, justice is being served. But we need to become more aware. If you or someone you know is in such a situation, do not stay silent. Talk to the police, to the family. And remember, humanity is the biggest religion. If my words have touched you, let me know in the comments. Together we can bring change.

Thank you,

[EX-MUSLIM BHARAT]
